where the shiny pearl hides

where the shiny pearl hides
near the ocean mist
before dawn while waiting sit
and stars above dimming shy
to hurry ‘cross this southern sky
i found those words before the trip
staccatoed strings upon a hip
that refrain could take the moon
upon a spritely flight
sparkle glint in deep eyes
inclement or glorious
every moment [...]

but familiar words waken
the slumbering fantasy
words before deeds
and i am a doer
in my dreams
singly a reason
for dreams with you
make dreaming more true

oh for the sound of loneliness
and the scented air is coy
with citrus and another joy
oh come moon lavishment
for words as missives sent
but hearken to the one i say
both far and near between this day
a promise of a minute drawn
from a well [...]
