dry underfoot
and the dune has staked
this piece of earth
water and sky
the following sigh
for a stroll
even now go
so moving so
the dunes are there
receding from the beach
the air salt spray
morning slips into the day
fresh and light
with a dancing star

and moving moving in an even pace
