archaic ports
by tanner brockwell (cc) 2007

archaic ports
built in another age
the salt sea spray
with wind and way
haul a-way
bound for new glories
that age
of gold
the only untarnished metal
on the ship
straight down the hatch
your sea legs never any good
roving ahoy
