care not for words unsaid
by tanner brockwell

care not for words unsaid
but with attention
see the words have lead
i thought i understood what you meant
but the path was twisting past
and i sat and waited
the blossoms blow
this is a garden
don’t you know
the soft steps
and idle beds
how could these words be left unsaid
the sleeping blooms
the quiet birds
all have now gone to rest
and dreams are in my head
that i go to dream upon my bed
