down deep
by tanner brockwell

down deep
under deep
for a sleep
arrives as sweep
bristlin whistlin
wayward wind
sprung cold
for your grip
slighted slip
and loosen
let
before morning yet
in the streams
of down beams
sun glinting shine
the illuminous outside
with caution rise
daring prise
a wondering gem
the list of him
for surfaces
in the morn
are familiar
