every one
2008/09/20 in poems
every one
by tanner brockwell
every one
a thousand but one
this pen this ink
a canvas white
amongst the scattered dust
garnered for days
counting some
or lost among
circular streets
without names
lost but one
and she is not here
she is not near
except in dreams
in the morning light
kissing away
kissing goodnight
