here i show
by tanner brockwell

here i show
the sublime mirth
o polished
orange hued
and through and through
the bit deep set
of teeth
i will show
the round milling
of features
so it was not complete
lost portion of
a whole misplaced
dispersed
from hand to hand
this edge here
is a grin
and here the edge i see
the bridge
of many tiny smiles
a wonder
a talisman
a small figment fixed
and in rotation spun
around around
now rest a while
and go back soon
this mid morn light
travels into after noon
