here take this fast
by tanner brockwell

here take this fast
when the sullen moon
yellow in the sky peeked
from hazy shrouds
hooray the missed stress
only a slow rise drawn
out and out as sailing by
the moon in vessel set
the moon a passage yet
the pastel tint of widening sky
the rise of sun the flying day
earshot met a crying howl
the fantastic cries of cryptic tone
the forest stirs it slept a bit
full force of phantom steps
that pad about in frequent wise
mysteries and frequencies
all the while invisible
