i say classical
the order of the column
from the mainland
of western greece
short faceted columns
holding up the temple
where is the goddess
moving through the doorway
the soft evening light
pours across white marble
and the air is warm
there is a hint of the breeze
there is a hint of the vine
ancient of days
the basis and trade
here is a solemn figure
by the form and dress
white tunic flows
and the vintage old
is poured into the cup
joined rites
a temple for a goddess
a temple for the vine
where is the goddess
