in the air once

in the air once
by tanner brockwell

in the air once
translucent wings pulsed
flitted and fine
that iridescent so exquisite
light is soft in stasis
turning the glints
of these small wings
small reflections
silent quiet immobile
light as sorrow
that has flown
though they were trapped once
they have gone

  1. I really liked this one with the fluttering of words upon the sweet air. Nice.
