the shot
the sudden upstart
the failed
the low
the highbrow
the art
the beginning

for this is where we all began

introducing
mementos
singular
the only remains
past are pages
down down the drain
the ink would run
the pages slur
there was art
there is a blur

for if you were never amateur

never a chance
lost in technique
lost in a glance
smiles fade
outside of mobile
like tanned hide
amongst the muck
submerge beneath
quiet bayou
