jumbling for space

jumbling for space
by tanner brockwell

jumbling for space
tipsy turvey turnabout
the shuffle or shout
mumblings apace
vowels under breath
drawn as fluid strands
golden honey sweet
perspire on brow
on how the furnace stoked
and blown shown sheened
rolled in circular
here forth back there
over and over
the liquid cooling
the colors vibrant
satisfying
saying
these grains
thousands as they were
merged a fold a turn
and out of fiery thought
beauteous brought
this artifact this magnificence
this timely and untimed
that the very catch of once
is caught out of mind
