long baby long
by tanner brockwell

long baby long
for those disappearing sands
the hungry waves
atoll adamant yet noble
bluer than blue
such ferocity
a few grains in your pocket
the red eye four times
back to this world
how can i possibly describe
the virgin beach
in the strands of dawn woke
mist that trailed across dune
the wild and the sky
so close so very close
and waking was to a dream
for a while a world
new and fragrant
for just a moment
long baby long

    wow…simply gorgeous,

    “how can i possibly describe
    the virgin beach
in the strands of dawn woke
    mist that trailed across dune
    the wild and the sky
    so close so very close”

such lovely words to play over and over again in my mind… your way with words captivates me!
