luna pax luna
by tanner brockwell
luna pax luna
crept away
the tenderness
after dawn
tiny filigree
rushed with blood course
eyes so called
watched the transformation
strengthened to flight
the endless hunger
would to satiate
in consort in communique
in the breath free
cool of night
blue filtered ray
fallen from gallant space
the tumbling
the roughness
the lost wings
found in the dusty corners
a week hence
oh for weakness
circumstance
idlings
even then
longings
even then
