oh unusual day

oh unusual day
for inside to stay
and out of doors
the snows fall hard
and oh unusual day
stranger that arrives
this party for
i have found respite
in warm cups delight
and soothe my view
and hearken to
this unusual day
i will not venture out
the snow falls throughout
the winter land
where cold ice stands
upon tree and fence
for another sip
accompanied by a bit
of tea time snack
while i unpack
