out there
by tanner brockwell (cc) 2007

out there
in the swaying grass
the wide open
the prairie side
just hop and jump
the sagging fence
and bounding run
and run into the wide
wide prairie side
beneath a blue blue sky
and wishes heard
and wishes known
where you as yours
meets me as mine
find me amongst
the rippling wave
simple then
with gifted smile
and this i’d share
with you
and this i’d share
