there is a hidden time
where and when i do not know
but there is a waterfall
that fills the air
with charged ions
that fills the air with electricity
and near this waterfall
i stand
upon the spray slick rock
moist and green with lichen
and i have jumped
across many rocks
to stand where i will not swim
and i am close to the falls
where water pours out a sound
and the wet spray
and the loud roar
are in the background
as i realize
i stand upon matter
before matter
and the elements
and the light
from the sun
in late summer
is bright and shiny
and new oh so very new
and i realize now
what i realized then
that there is no world
no world without you
