shrouded dead

shrouded dead
by tanner brockwell

shrouded dead
escaped from shrouded bed
in dawns crank
an urban clank
and the mils a wake
cause boots quake

atomized spectral
far out cries
such dawn red slake
for dust and dust and empty thirst

pounding falls
entrapped in deep halls
this end
that end
far from homes keep
from homes dark sleep
