the soft sands

the soft sands
by tanner brockwell
the soft sands
dry underfoot
and the dune has staked
this piece of earth
water and sky
the following sigh
for a stroll
even now go
so moving so
the dunes are there
receding from the beach
the air salt spray
morning slips into the day
fresh and light
with a dancing star
the nights long dance from afar
and moving moving in an even pace
there is no hurry there is no race
but the undulations of a winding way
to the dunes and shore and even more
where will this go
but a venture a sight
a memory made
into the crisp dawn
the welcome said
the grasp of comfort
the tight closeness
and visions and ways
before the long afternoon
and the day

Wow, this poem is not just a beautiful work of literature but it is a memory given to those who long to be beside the shore once more. For that I thank you. How grogeous a morn was this…to be in complete unity with nature. So the wonderous beauty and perfect design obliterates any other concern in one’s life. Again thank you for the visions.
