unknown as i sleep
by Tanner Brockwell

unknown as i sleep
these are strange dreams
that other world
cast about poles
stretched to the limits
and being is faster or slower
or is in these deep times
a place of supreme delight
the mirthful giggle
has this found home
in the closeness of dreams
lids are in a lighter place
there amongst the rose fired dusk
winged messengers soar
on missions laid in place by memories
or predictions or dedications
that were figured
carved as hewn oaks
to become the front facing
eager expecting that each mile
sailed towards the horizon
would welcome new worlds to explore
