where were we

2007/12/07 in poems

where were we
by tanner brockwell

where were we
in the summers moonlight
heartshaped we waited
on this day
away to be
hearts apart
with the creaking swing
the sigh of twilight
ages could be
ages would be
the magnetism in kind
