white the cat that moves
like a shadow
amorphous outlooking
where is the oppositeblack as night
the soft fur
the cat curled asleep
rippling undulationsrooms apart the dreamer
and the restless soul
even though distance keeps
thoughts are as onethe dreaming eye sees
the whitest coat
waking steps bringing closertogether in the same room
the dreamer purrs in delight
as black satin and white snow
mix in slumber
