within the hope
by tanner brockwell
within the hope
there was bliss
a chance at change
a suddenness
the company of long hours
understanding a piece
the unspoke joy
or referenced dreams
i know that joy is what it seems
so whisper this before you fly
that dreams are hopes
but a hope it was
the moving earth stops never now
but revolves
around two separate poles
and ice is cold enough
to freeze those dreams
