would you spend the entire day

2007/09/02 in poems

would you spend the entire day
by tanner brockwell (cc) 2007

would you spend the entire day
even in the warming shade
or with a sudden raw intent
to move to live
to exalting say
this is life it is to be lived
the hot and cold
the dry and wet
and cobbled stones
or slated roofs
the stones with us
everywhere
