you are not

you are not
by tanner brockwell

you are not
invisible
you are
the rain before
the screen
the droplets seen
in vertigo
essence
the semblance
what was past
the cool mist that clings
to the green lawns
and drifting
drifting
towards the sea
the green serene
a tidy now
i put the cups away
anyhow
and after tea
the trumpets then
and after tea
tearful
wending as the mist would be
there is no after tea
but crumbs to brush away
there will be tea again
some other day

this one is very well done and the flow is outstanding…yet the topic was one that escaped me? To crawl inside your head while you think of these cryptic pieces would be such a treat!
