the intensity of the undulations

January 4, 2010 in poems by tanner

the intensity of the undulations
by tanner brockwell

the intensity of the undulations
is exponential
is expanding like
fired synapses
chained passed messages
is aware of totality
of completeness
of the surfaced gasp
before submersed
in cyclopean majesty
suffice suffice suffice
this world of deep echoes
sonars rippling across
hidden peaks
the too possible valleys
the slopes falling away
away away the winding trace
there in the primordial
contrasting deep deep blues
the hidden hue
vessels messengers cross
meridians tropics the cold feet
of vast bergs in the sea
the sleep and deep
where only vibrations go

could you save the rush of far off shores

April 30, 2009 in poems by tanner

could you save the rush of far off shores
by tanner brockwell

could you save the rush of far off shores
the melting hush of that inward push
the motion of the eventful waves
that leaving once return again
the water rich in memories deep
and this is cause of dreams
that drifting on our nightly voyage
beyond the edge of here and now
into a future far for we fly
into wonders and miracles and open skies
